Building lasting client relationships is at the heart of Becky’s approach to her work as an Independent Financial Adviser. As part of this, she makes it a priority to ensure that clients understand how their investments work and help them to achieve their aims. She also enjoys adapting client portfolios to reflect changing circumstances.
Becky, who joined Birchwood in 2005, began her career in the financial sector in 1985 and brings to her role experience gained in building societies, banks and insurance.
She is a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) and is now a Chartered Financial Planner, having completed level 6 CII advanced qualifications, AF1 Personal Tax and Trust planning, AF3 Advanced Pension Planning, AF4 Investment Planning and AF5 Financial Planning Process. This is in addition to holding the Financial Planning Certificate, the Certificate in Life and Pensions, the Diploma in Financial Planning, CF8 Long Term Care Insurance, and ER1 Equity release.
She specialises in assisting with redundancy/retirement planning, including ensuring that client portfolios make the most of tax-efficient opportunities, as well as running workshops on the benefits system and making the most of your money.
