Managing Director

Peter joined Birchwood in 2001 in an administrator role and subsequently progressed to work as a paraplanner, supporting one of Birchwood’s directors, before qualifying as an Independent Financial Adviser in 2009.

In this role, his focus is to provide practical and understandable advice and develop individually tailored strategies that support his clients to achieve their goals and aspirations. Since 2014, he has combined his financial advisory work with acting as Birchwood’s Group Operations Manager and now in 2021 as Managing Director.

Peter holds the Chartered Insurance Institute’s Certificate in Financial Planning at levels 1, 2 and 3. He has also completed the Institute of Financial Services’ (IFS) level 4 examinations to achieve the Diploma in Financial Advice as well as achieving the IFS Certificate in Long-Term Care in April 2014. He will also be embarking on a two year course to become Level 6 Chartered Status.
