The State Benefit System

This workshop is designed to prepare candidates on how best to present themselves when signing on at the Job Centre, to ensure that they obtain maximum advantage form the State Benefit system and to update them with all of the changes to the system.

Make your money work

This workshop provides an overview of income tax, capital gains tax and inheritance tax, how pension benefits are calculated and options when you leave a company as well as the advantages and disadvantages of the most popular investment options.

Pre-retirement

This workshop is designed to help candidates to obtain a better understanding of the income they will require in retirement and what steps they need to take now to maximise their pension benefits, including state pension.

Do you believe you will have enough to retire on?

This workshop is designed to encourage candidates to examine their current financial position and take stock of their pension benefits, consider the income they require at retirement taking inflation into account, and then consider how they will make up any potential shortfall.
